It's a big commitment trying to start a blog that's a "first of its kind." There are no other ones out there (good or bad) that focus on digital signage and corporate communications. And it took quite a bit of encouraging on my part to the MediaTile execs to let me get this one going. And so far, the results have been promising. But today, I was recognized as one of the Top 50 Bloggers in Indianapolis. (Which of course my wife replied, "There are probably only 50. Nice to have the marital support, eh.) There are no trophies or cookies, but it's nice to know that someone is paying attention.
It's the same way with employee communications. You work and work and work and hope that something sticks. Sometimes all you need is a little bit of feedback. Well, this acknowledgment shows MediaTile and me that "it" is starting to stick.
