Software for digital signage seems to be some sort of informal theme of the week for me here on the blog. It's an important consideration for any network and must be a tool that you become comfortable with. The software must be easy to use and easy to access.
This is why MediaCast, our digital signage software, is entirely web-based and is accessible from any of the popular web browsers. In just a few clicks, you can easily upload new content, put together playlists and then have the technology go to work for you. It provides both content management and delivery for you.
To provide you an introduction to Mediacast, our marketing team has put a video demonstration up on our site. It's only about 5 minutes long and is a great way to get a feel for what Mediacast can offer you and your company. You can also download a data sheet for Mediacast for further review.
When I was a customer, I used the now termed "classic" version of the portal, which is still available. It's more text-based where MediaCast 4.0 is much, much more visual, as you can see by the video. Mediacast provides a drag-and-drop environment which makes managing your content a much more pleasing experience. You can now see thumbnail images of your content and then drag them up to sequence into playlists. Pretty cool stuff.
Content might be king when it comes to digital signage, but software would be one of its royal subjects. Watch the video and you'll see our software in action. If you're interested in seeing your own demo of Mediacast, leave a comment on this post and I'll be in touch.
