Kind of like the Hair Club for Men. . . only with Digital Signage

I glossed over this a bit in my post at the top, but it's true that I am a former customer. In fact, I was MediaTile's first customer to use our digital signage for employee communications.

Rolls-Royce and MediaTileAt the time, I was the internal communications manager for Rolls-Royce in Indianapolis. With roughly 4,000 employees, half of those did not have regular access to email, voice mail or the intranet. Their jobs were tied to building gas turbine engines for the aerospace industry. ProAV magazine wrote a very nice feature about the installation. You can request a PDF from our marketing folks.

MediaTile's cellular digital signage allowed Rolls-Royce to reach employees with both critical and non-critical messages without any IT investment or infrastructure. We were able to get the digital signage network installed in practically no time at all.

As we progress with the blog, we'll talk to several of our other customers who are using MediaTile digital signage for employee communications. And we'll also loop back with Rolls-Royce to see how they're doing.

(Special thanks to my hero Karen Marlett for the photo.)
