Once a week, our customer support guru Jessica Helick emails out a tip of the week to our digital signage customers. The helpful advice ranges from simple reminders of how to best use MediaCast, our digital signage software system, to helping users properly plan out schedules. Here's the tip sent out yesterday:

Multi-Zone layouts give our customers the ability to place a variety of pieces of content or playlists into different "zones" on the screen, essentially breaking up the digital signage content into various locations.
It's this sort of helpful advice that Jessica provides on a weekly basis to our customers.

Locating Multi-Zone Layout Specifications
The various zones of a Multi-Zone playlist have unique specifications for resolution and aspect ratio. These specs can be viewed in zone properties (to view properties, mouse over the zones of a Multi-Zone layout).
Though a MediaTile device will automatically resize content (“on-the-fly”) to fit a zone’s specifications, that content may appear distorted. It is best to create content to scale according to the specs.
