Digital signage is finally making head waves. And no, it's not the numerous studies talking about the exponential growth in the marketplace. Or the announcements that millions of adults who are now relying on the technology for information.

Those don't matter any more. The technology has finally arrived thanks to Blondie. And no, not Blondie the famous 80s singer, but instead the famed comic strip that started in the 1930s. Digital Signage Association's David Drain spotted the comic.

Blondie and Digital Signage

But I do like the message embedded in the topic. How many times have you had employee complain about your internal communications to then only later rely on it and then actually pay attention to it? The same happens with digital signage.

So many companies think they don't NEED digital signage, and that might be true. But companies do NEED to communicate to employees and digital signage can draw attention to the messages. . . as demonstrated by the comic.
