The "benefits" of digital signage for corporate communicators

I reunited with a fraternity brother of mine yesterday over a cup of coffee. He wanted to learn more about digital signage, but not for his company's benefit for his clients' "benefits." Chris works for a company who helps package up health and insurance benefits for companies and then helps these companies educate their workers on the options.

And as a result, employees aren't getting the most out of their company-provided benefits.

He sees an internal communications network coupled with the right content as a great way to reinforce the benefits messages over an entire calendar period, and not just during open enrollment time. Companies invest a lot of money in benefits for workers and it should be in their interest to maximize them.

This message reinforcement is one of the many strengths that digital signage provides corporate communicators. With MediaTile (and likely other vendors), you can schedule your messages months and months in advance so you have the confidence in knowing that your communication and messages will be played without having to manage it on a daily basis.

Your employees can then get the needed reminders throughout the year.
