Message reinforcement through digital signage

I've read that people need to see a message 14 times before they remember or can recall it. I've also seen 17 times, 20 times and 30 times. Nobody what number is applied, it's a lot.

In employee communications, email is the "easy" way to hit people up. But at what point are you simply spamming your own internal audiences? Employees' blood pressure will rise each and every time your message come across their inbox. Or, they will just simply hit delete.

But by putting your messages in a rotation on digital signage, you're able to reinforce your messages without invading their space (or inbox).

As communicators we know (or should know) the messages because we are the ones delivering. We take for granted the the recipients care as much as we do. You have to find a way to keep your messages in front of people.

In my biased opinion, digital signage is the way to do it.
